Front Desk Clerk
Job Summary:
Pacific Plaza Resort is a unique condominium hotel in Oceano. Property consists of 56-rooms, all individually owned, that are rented out to the public. Our company manages 31 units, from studios to 1-bedroom condos.
Must present a personable, helpful, and professional image. Responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel, making necessary reservation arrangements, and assisting with general information. Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisor.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
-Responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel.
-Act as receptionist for the hotel.
-Issue emails with check-in information, or provide room keys as necessary.
-Work in conjunction with the management, housekeeping, and maintenance staff to assist guests.
-Answer phones, e-mails, and guest inquiries through online travel agency websites.
-Other duties as assigned.
-Keep the lobby, outer lobby area, laundry room, office, and restroom clean and presentable at all times.
-Responsible for locking/unlocking the spa, checking and maintaining water levels.
-Conduct property walk-through's and ensure parking lots, patios, and sidewalks are trash/debris free.
-Change batteries in door locks when low.
-Must communicate with owners and guests and ensure a quality guest experience.
-Problem solving skills essential.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required:
-Must be dependable, on-time, and flexible.
-Must have excellent communication skills.
-Basic reading & math skills.
-Knowledge of online travel agency extranet/hotel software.
-Ability to understand and carry out instructions.
-Must be able to maintain a professional manner under stress.
You will report directly to the supervisor.
