Solar Sales Representative

Renewable Energy Systems of Alaska is looking for a full-time retail sales representative at our Anchorage location. Solar is one of the fastest-growing industries and this is a great opportunity to get training and experience with the best renewable energy company in Alaska. A motivated person will find that the position offers plenty of room for growth and opportunity!

Compensation: $5,000 per month starting pay. After 60-90 days of training, will adjust to base salary plus commission estimated at $75,000-$120,000 per year.

Schedule: Five days a week with rotating days off. Shows and events require additional days worked.

Position: We are looking for a full time Solar Sales Representative at our Anchorage location. Primary responsibilities are as follows:

Answering phones, greeting customers, and completing sales transactions

Learn how to design and sell small and large solar systems with the best products in the state.

Educate clients on the benefits of renewable energy with the purpose of generating interest

Customize solar energy products and systems depending on the needs and designs of the customer’s property.

Become an expert in solar through our leadership and training programs so you can properly serve the marketplace.

Excellent growth and advancement opportunities

1 to 2 weeks of travel to Fairbanks during training may be required.

Requirements:

People Person with Great Customer Service Skills

Effective Communication Skills

Ability to pass a background check.

Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

General computer (Google Suite and Microsoft Office) and typing skills

Organized and detail-oriented

Ability and willingness to learn new information and skills

High School Diploma or GED

Desired Experience:

1+ Year- Customer Service

1+ Year- Home Improvement Sales
