As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Rotomolding Operator to drive our production team towards excellence in efficiency, quality, and teamwork.

Job Summary:

The Lead Rotomolding Operator is a pivotal role at RTS Companies US Inc., combining hands-on operational responsibilities with leadership duties. This role is designed for a seasoned operator who not only manages the rotomolding machinery but also leads, mentors, and trains the team operating alongside them. This position acts as the right-hand person to the Shift Supervisor, reliably supporting management and ensuring that production and quality targets are met consistently.

Compensation:

The Lead Rotomolding Operator will be paid a starting wage of $22/hr, with opportunities for advancement and performance-based increases.

Shift Schedule (hiring on all three shifts):

8 Hour Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

8 Hour Afternoon Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

8 Hour Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

All shifts include 30-minute paid lunch

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Mastery and Operation:

o Operate rotomolding machinery with expert precision.

o Adjust process parameters to meet production goals and maintain product quality.

o Troubleshoot and resolve machine or product issues swiftly to minimize downtime.

Production Leadership:

o Direct and coordinate activities of the machine group to ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently achieved.

o Monitor production schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency.

o Uphold rigorous quality control standards, intervening directly to correct quality lapses. Training all members of your working team to follow the same practices and providing guidance on how to improve quality at all stages of the molding process.

Team Development and Training:

o Train new and existing staff on machine operation, safety protocols, and quality control measures.

o Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

o Act as a motivational leader, inspiring and rallying the team to exceed targets.

Safety and Compliance:

o Ensure all safety protocols are followed by the team.

o Maintain a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and promote efficient operation.

o Regularly participate in and lead safety briefings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in manufacturing preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in rotational molding, including leadership responsibilities.

Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage production operations effectively.

Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of instructing and inspiring a team.
