Machine Maintenance Repair Technician

We are looking for a skilled Machine Maintenance Repair Technician to join our team in a busy Granite shop. As a Machine Maintenance Repair Technician, your main responsibility will be to ensure the smooth operation and efficient repair of our stone cutting and fabrication machines. This will involve conducting regular maintenance checks, diagnosing, and troubleshooting issues, and implementing repairs to minimize machine downtime. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine maintenance and repair or auto repair to include excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular maintenance checks of machines to ensure optimal performance.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with machines, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Implement repairs to machines in a timely and efficient manner.

Perform routine cleaning and lubrication of machinery parts.

Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair tasks performed.

Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve complex machine issues.

Provide technical support to machine operators and production staff as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience in machine maintenance and repair.

Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Good work ethic.

Additional

Military experience is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
