Your responsibility will be to sell components used in heavy industry such as industrial gear reducers, couplings, and bearings. You will receive training on our products, but will need to bring a high level of professionalism in return. Sound fair? Read on!
We are seeking a committed Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team. The heart of the job is to build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. This means responding to inbound phone and email inquiries with urgency, and attending to all customer needs promptly and with exceptional attention to detail. Pursuing new sales opportunities, including researching prospects, initiating calls, and reporting on results in accordance with company strategy is also part of the job. To start you will work hand-in-hand with our lead sales person, but the job will soon become highly independent. We are looking for a person who takes "ownership" of their role, someone we can trust to take care of our business as if it were there own.
Key duties:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies
Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
Other duties include:
Open and close office
Receive modest amount of daily UPS and freight
Ship modest amount of outgoing UPS and freight
Perform some warehouse work, including operation
Make one or two local deliveries weekly
Occasional lifting of up to 50lbs

Qualifications
5 years experience in inside sales or a similar role, preferably in industrial products
Strong phone presence
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain long-term relationships
Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to operate a forklift and lift up to 50lbs occasionally
Work Schedule:
Full-time, 5 days a week
Regular business hours, 7:45 to 4:15 (or as needed for deliveries/shipments)
