TRUCKING DRAYAGE LOGISTICS SALES PERSON

Are you an established industry person with knowledge of the east coast supply chain and has established relationships and/or existing business ?

This is an exciting opportunity as our long standing and highly reputable Jersey City based trucking brand seeks a motivated knowledgeable sales lead to help grow and expand on our current volume of asset based in house capabilities. We are a mid sized carrier providing various services including 20' & 40' chassis, 53' dry vans, reefer, straight truck, flatbed, and more. We specialize in drayage as well as local, regional and more with room to grow and expand our current footprint. Our warehouses include large space capacities for both short and long term storage and drayage services like crossdocking, transload and more spread out strategically over a few locations here in the New Jersey. Are you the person who can help break through to new ground?

Previous logistics experience and industry knowledge is not a plus but a requirement! Words like Port Newark Elizabeth Import Export Drayage LTL OTR Transload Crossdock Reefer RGN Last Free Day should all ring the bell!

Responsibilities include:

Industry knowledge and experience match requested services through the appropriate channels.

Having an established client base is a plus.

Ability to quote loads and shipments to potential clients

Knowledge of domestic freight forwarding and truck brokerage.

Ability to lead or grow our department through experience and motivation.

Creating proposals, pricing and services suited to the customer needs.
