Are you a Head Pastry Chef looking for a new opportunity or an experienced Sous ready for more responsibilities?

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and trained professional Executive Pastry Chef with a minimum of 7 years of Head Pastry Chef Leadership experience, OR a talented Head Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef with 3 years minimum experience ready for a next level opportunity to lead our passionate team of a bakers dozen pastry professionals!

We are a high volume, fast paced operation looking for an inspiring committed leader with strong work ethic to partner with ownership and expand the growth of our company. We produce a variety of desserts/breads/pastries and cakes at our full service bakery in beautiful Coronado in addition to our 2 other high volume bistro and historical coffee shop restaurant locations. This position requires a capacity to manage a team of people and maintain the operational requirements which include but not limited to: control of inventory, food costs, scheduling and control of labor, bake off and production, systems organization, R&D, and administrative tasks.

-Quality, consistency, and strong leadership are key

-Adhere to company HR policies and standard operating procedures while creating a positive safe environment for your

team to work in

-Follow all environmental health guidelines per San Diego County

-Serve Safe course will be required

-Stand for long periods of time, bend, and lift 50 lbs.

Salaried position.

50-60 hours per week.

Days/Nights and open availability.

Weekends and holidays expected and the flexibility to adjust hours and/or work days if needed.
