Position:

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for supporting our Operations Manager, Purchasing Agent, and CEO in all aspects of their roles, including data entry/maintenance, purchasing, expediting, errands, social media, project photo shoots, and other office-related and administrative tasks. You will track/maintain our job lead databases, place + track merchandise orders from our clients, obtain quotes from Receivers, and order materials samples for the designers. You will process expense reports and reimbursables, manage our vendor list and inventory, and send client cards + other mail. You’ll also make minor edits to our website, place/remove our signs at project sites, get treats for our monthly meetings, and… the list goes on! Your role will ensure our Ops team can do more to keep the ship sailing smoothly. While an interest in interior design is a plus; this is not a design position.

Requirements:

Associate’s degree or higher

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional setting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with data entry with a high level of accuracy

Great communicator via email and phone

Excellent troubleshooting and research skills; you are considered a ‘closer’ and get things done

Team player, positive attitude, strong desire to continually learn and grow

Thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand setting

Bookkeeping skills welcome but not required

Style-savvy / love for interior design a plus!

Reliable car. Mileage is reimbursed at IRS standard rates.

Schedule:

After a 90-day Intro. Period where hours will range from 20-40 per week as your role ramps up, this will be a full-time, non-exempt position. As an hourly employee, your work schedule will be 9am to 5:30pm with a mandatory 30-minute lunch break. IDF Studio’s “open for business” hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Pay is commensurate with experience. Benefits include group health insurance, matching 401k plan, vacation and sick time.
