The Job: Are you a Certified Personal Trainer interested in working with and motivating members to achieve their fitness goals? If working at one of the largest fitness centers on the Peninsula inspires you, this might be the job for you! As a Personal Trainer you will be an expert consultant with members on their overall health and fitness while evaluating movement and postural patterns to best design a workout routine that will enable clients to achieve their health and fitness goals.

The Core Duties:

Lead both individual and group training sessions

Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and health conditions

Recommend appropriate programs and services that may be of interest for members

Evaluate movement, postural patterns and physical needs to design an appropriate personal

exercise routine

Instruct members on how to use equipment properly and safely

The Essentials:

Personal training experience preferred

1 Nationally Accredited Personal Training Certificate required

Upbeat and positive

Punctuality and reliability are a must

Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with

members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations

Current CPR/AED Certification required

High School diploma/GED equivalent required

Must be 18 years of age or older
