California English, Sorrento Mesa’s newest destination, combines the effortless vibe of the Golden State with the classic charisma of the English countryside. Chef Richard Blais takes advantage of California’s incredible bounty of produce and ingredients while adding a touch of global influence to otherwise classic British dishes, creating a craveable blend of flavors on each plate. Open for lunch, dinner, afternoon tea and brunch, there is plenty of stoke and charm in each meal combining Chef Blais' sense of whimsy and expertly sourced ingredients.

We are currently seeking full time prep and line positions, so if you have drive to work in a busy and excellent kitchen environment, please send us your resume! We aim to fill out our kitchen team with dedicated professionals, who would like to work hard along side us to push our vision into the next phase, sharpen our skills and bring new perspective to what we do. Experience is recommended, but not necessary given a hard-working attitude, an ability to learn quickly, and a passion for excellence.
