Construction Superintendent/Site Supervisor
Georgia, Atlanta , 30301 Atlanta USA

I'm building a house southwest of the Airport and am looking for someone with a decent amount of knowledge of residential construction (poured slab, CMU kneewall, stick framing, Hardie siding, etc). I'm looking for someone to oversee the trades, but also to self-perform (with a semi-skilled day laborer, and myself on weekends) items like the roofing, soffit, fascia, and siding (and some sundry items I need help with; list to be discussed), along with scheduling work in advance, receiving deliveries, picking up small items from the hardware store, etc. Ideally, I'll find a recently retired Superintendent, but anyone who can read drawings, look out for safety concerns, and knows what a quality job looks like (square, plumb, and level framing, no honeycombed concrete, etc. etc.), and who is willing to learn, and driven, should be adequate.

Payment would be back-loaded. $50K overall. $40K of that would be based on milestone completions. $10K would be a bonus for getting me a Certificate of Occupancy by mid-December (which should be easily doable by anyone who knows what they're doing). I'm an Architect turned Superintendent turned Project Manager and can share what knowledge and expertise I have, but I don't want to lose my day job so need a good communicator that I can rely on.
