Meat Packer

Join our team as a Packaging Associate, where you’ll play a crucial role in our meat products packaging process. No experience is required–just submit your resume, and we’ll guide you through the rest.

Shift:

7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate:

$18.00 per hour

Location:

Aurora, IL

Key Responsibilities:

Packing & Repacking: Handle, pack, and repack meat products according to company standards.

Measuring & Weighing: Measure, weigh, and count products and materials for accurate packaging.

Container Assembly: Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools.

Cleaning: Maintain cleanliness in the work area by using cleaning solutions and hand tools.

Inspection: Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to meet packing specifications.

Loading: Load materials and products into package processing equipment.

Labeling: Mark and label containers, tags, and products using appropriate tools.

Product Handling: Move, sort, and handle products, materials, and containers efficiently.

Filling Containers: Pour products or materials into containers, or fill them from spouts or chutes.

Documentation: Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms.

Quality Control: Remove defective products or materials and place them in designated areas.

Sealing: Seal containers or materials using glues, fasteners, nails, and hand tools.

Additional Information:

This position operates in a cold environment. Candidates must be comfortable working in low-temperature conditions.

Background screening is required after acceptance.

Lifting up to 50 lbs.

Standing for 8 hours plus.
