Part-Time Marriage and Family Counselor
Job Description:
Are you an experienced and empathetic Marriage and Family Counselor passionate about fostering healthy relationships and strong family dynamics? Our small private practice in Pleasanton, Texas is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Marriage and Family Counselor to join our team. This is a 1099 contractor position, offering the flexibility to work with couples and families in a warm, community-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual, couple, and family therapy sessions to address a range of relationship and family issues.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client or family.
Assist clients in navigating challenges such as communication issues, conflict resolution, parenting concerns, and life transitions.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to provide comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of sessions and client progress.
Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to ensure the highest standard of care.
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
Current Texas state license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent; Associates may be considered.).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in marriage and family counseling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
