Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Business Development Sales Representative in Indianapolis, Indiana. The role involves a variety of duties in the sales industry, where you will be responsible for generating new customers, following up on leads. generating leads, and acting as a liaison between different departments. Responsibilities: Generate new customers through various methods such as cold calling, prospecting, and referrals Act as a liaison between customers, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure smooth transactions and customer satisfaction Manage customer accounts effectively, including handling purchase orders, invoicing, and shipping tasks Forecast product demand and coordinate with manufacturing scheduling to ensure timely completion Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally Collaborate with internal and external sales representatives to drive business growth Utilize customer service skills to provide exceptional experiences for customers Leverage problem-solving skills to address and overcome challenges in daily operations Use MS Office 365 and previous ERP experience to manage data and streamline sales operations Participate in trade shows and lead generation campaigns to attract potential customers and promote the business.Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business development or sales role Proficient in driving lead generation and managing lead generation campaigns Experience in prospecting and identifying new business opportunities Proficient in using CRM software to manage and analyze customer interactions and data Ability to manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline Experience in preparing and presenting price quotes to potential clients Experience in representing the company at trade shows and other networking events Excellent communication and negotiation skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must possess a customer-centric approach to tasks Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
