Description We are in search of an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity where your abilities in handling accounting tasks, especially in accounts receivable, will be crucial. You will be tasked with managing a high volume of transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and resolving accounting issues in a timely manner.Responsibilities: Accurately process and record daily credit card deposits. Handle remote deposits of checks and post customer payments to their accounts. Regularly review customer accounts for any past due amounts and initiate collection efforts as needed. Perform accounting and clerical functions to support departmental goals. Investigate any questionable transactions and work towards a resolution. Maintain and update accounting records and data in our systems in line with defined procedures. Prepare cash bank deposits and customer credits as required. Engage in other tasks as assigned within the team.
