Hours: Full-time, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm (30 minutes break)

Job description

We are seeking a competent Caregiver Coordinator/ HR to provide professional and compassionate care for our clients and caregivers. The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly, and possess excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions, work independently, be self-motivated, and perform various tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for reaching out to job seekers, supervising employees, and ensuring training compliance for those working in clients' homes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Use the database system to manage applications.

- Utilize job portal sites such as Indeed, Craigslist, etc., for managing applications.

- Renew hiring/job adverts on all job ad sites and social media platforms.

- Call and set up second in-person interviews.

- Screen applicants, check references, and run background checks.

- Conduct orientation for all new hires, either online or in person.

- Perform home visits to identify issues with client care and coordinate with the client manager to refine care needs.

- Perform all meet and greets for caregivers.

- Create and maintain caregiver personnel files.

- Answer emails, phones, and incoming faxes as per department requirements.

- Work closely with the front desk scheduler to fill all open shifts.

- Train Caregivers in client's homes

- Help caregivers understand a client's care needs

- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

- Hire caregivers and adjust hiring based on company needs

Skills:

- Proven experience as a caregiver is an advantage

- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)

- Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living), IADLS (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living), and cooking with attention to dietary constraints

- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

- Respectful, compassionate, and empathetic

- Good time management skills and ability to self-motivate/work independently

- Willingness to work in a team environment and accept feedback

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong ethics

- Physical endurance

- High school diploma or equivalent
