We are a family operated, Real Estate Company that specializes in Residential Leasing Airbnb and Property Management.
The Assistant Manager is an integral part of our management team, dedicated to the financial success of our properties and exceptional service to residents. The Assistant Property Manager, under the direction of the Property Manager, is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the business and to act as main point of contact. The right candidate must be a team player with a positive can-do attitude.
Responsibilities
Assisting in the timely collection & posting of rents, banking activities, documentation of all transactions, preparation of all reporting documentation.
Manage all aspects of assigned properties.
Monitor and control payments.
Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet standards.
Ability to physically tour the Properties in its entirety, the ability to oversee any and all maintenance functions
Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
On call for emergency off hours. Availability 24/7 for urgent maintenance calls or leads for listed rental properties
Availability to work also in weekends or after regular hours (accepting calls, showing rental listings, signing leases, emergency maintenance).
Providing support and promotion including social media .
Processing of office files and documentation
Requirements:
The position requires the ability to communicate effectively with people and present a positive, professional image. In addition the position requires the following:
Excellent management and communication skills
Strong administrative and organizational skills. Has to be a cleaned and organized person.
Strong time management skills
Professional image
Strong customer service orientation
Knowledge of on-site maintenance requirements including dealing with vendors and contractors
Ability to show units for rent and execute rental leasing.
Ability and access to drive a car. Must have a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
Ability to speak, read and write English and Spanish
Must have basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Word and Excel. Buildium program knowledge is an advantage.
Qualifications:
A minimum of one-year residential leasing and management experience required.
A minimum of a high school education is required.
The position requires the ability to speak, read and write English and Spanish fluently, and the ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
