Building Super Wanted

We are seeking a live-in Superintendent to manage a small 15-unit residential building located in Newark, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair activities within the building, conducting regular inspections, and performing maintenance checks. You will also address tenant requests and concerns, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are completed promptly and efficiently.

Additionally, your duties will include cleaning the building's floors, maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, managing trash disposal, and shoveling snow as needed. Ensuring that unauthorized individuals do not gain access to the property will also be part of your role. You may also oversee maintenance technicians and staff, manage supplies and equipment, and coordinate with external contractors when required. As the Superintendent, you will serve as the primary point of contact between residents and the property management company or building owner.

This position offers a complimentary one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment as part of the employment package.
