Lead Low Voltage Cable Technician
TEC Integration, Inc. is a rapidly growing technology integrator serving the Denver Metro and surrounding areas- we are looking for a few exceptional people with a strong work ethic to join our team & help grow our business. a minimum of 2 year experience installing low voltage systems is required. Responsibilities include: installation of low voltage cable, (CAT5e,CAT6, Coax, fiber optic, etc) termination and testing. Additional responsibilities may include: installation of hardware systems associated with the cable installation such as: Audio/video, access control, surveillance and VoIP systems. All applicants must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation. Basic tools (safety gear, snips, punch tool, cordless drill, screw drivers, dry wall saw, etc.) are required day one and are your responsibility to provide. Hourly rate will be based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage cable infrastructure for our commercial customers.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and resolve issues with low voltage systems.
- Test and inspect low voltage systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to install low voltage solutions that meet specifications
-Manage assigned technicians on a daily basis to ensure quality of installation, professionalism and outstanding customer service
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including documentation of system configurations, repairs, and upgrades.
-Drive your team to meet or exceed project goals and timelines to successfully complete the project within estimated timeframe and budget
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge and understanding of low voltage systems including CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optic, Coax and multi-pair cables
- Knowledge of industry standards and codes related to low voltage systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
-Ability to read and comprehend prints, line diagrams and scope of work
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN CABLE INFRASTRUCTURE INSTALLATION IS A REQUIREMENT
