Labor Compliance Coordinator and Accounting Support (Part-Time)
We are a management and bookkeeping services company looking to expand our team. Our clients are construction companies engaged in federal and state prevailing wage projects. We are looking for a part-time Labor Compliance Coordinator who will also assist with bookkeeping tasks.
Responsibilities include:
Labor Compliance
Completing and sending out forms DAS 140/142, and keeping record of proof of sending
Determining the prevailing wage rates per project, per trade
Processing and reporting certified payroll on LCP Tracker, eMARS and new DIR website
Completing and submitting ancillary documents – Fringe Benefit Statement, Authorized Signatory, etc.
Processing reports and payments to training and trust funds
Tracking apprentice ratios
Accounting Support
Recording daily financial transactions in QuickBooks
Data entry
Assisting in running payroll
Reconciling bank statements
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience in the construction industry
Minimum 1 year experience in public works labor compliance
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe
Intermediate skills in QuickBooks
Basic accounting knowledge
Good driving record
Will be required to apply for DBIDS for entry into military facilities
Expected hours: 16-24 hours per week
Schedule: 8 hours shift, Monday to Friday
Physical Setting: Office
Work Location: In Person
Pay: $24 - $26 per hour
