Powell's Books, the nation's top independent bookseller, is looking for a Facilities Generalist.

Powell’s Books is looking for a dedicated Facilities Generalist to enrich the ambiance of our iconic stores. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance and improvement of our properties, ensuring that every detail contributes to an exceptional customer experience.

As a Facilities Generalist, you will execute and coordinate a wide range of tasks, including cleaning, maintenance, repairs, and enhancements across Powell’s facilities. Your expertise will support various trades, including lighting, electrical, maintenance, and fixtures, while providing general support to our stores.

Working under the guidance of the Facilities Operations Manager, you will operate within established guidelines to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. The Regular schedule is to be determined, and will include one or both weekend days. Shifts will be 9am - 5pm, for a 37.5 hour work-week.

Compensation is $18.00 per hour, or more, depending on experience.
