Job Title: Administrative Coordinator
Reports to: Church Administrator
Job Summary:
The Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support to the church staff, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations. This role is responsible for managing church communications, coordinating events, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage church communications: answer phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors
· Coordinate events: schedule meetings, book rooms, and arrange logistics
· Maintain accurate records: update databases, manage files, and perform data entry
· Provide administrative support: prepare bulletins, reports, and other documents
· Assist with budgeting and financial tasks: process payments, track expenses, and prepare financial reports
· Develop and implement administrative processes to improve efficiency
· Collaborate with church staff and volunteers to achieve church goals
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
· 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in a church or non-profit setting
· Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
· Familiarity with church operations and Cascade United Methodist protocols (desired)
