Experience/Requirements
2 years of documented professional experience in massage therapy
CAMTC Certification
5 years experience+ is recommended
Job Responsibilities:
Lesson-planning and teaching of classes in massage therapy.
Actively coaching and assisting students (future salon professionals) with clinic floor services to include technical assistance as well as coaching on salon success skills such as guest consultations, re-booking, and retailing.
Modeling Neihule culture and positive professional habits for our future professionals.
Present instructional materials and reinforcing instruction and follow-ups of understanding of specific concepts and techniques.
Practical Hands on Teaching/timesheets/paperwork. As well as manage classroom teaching conditions and environment through active instructor presence in order to promote positive classroom participation and appropriate use of furniture and equipment.
Provide regularly scheduled academic advising to students within the program
Stay current with all regional and state code changes and industry standards as it applies to
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and informative lectures on massage therapy techniques, anatomy, physiology, and client care.
Provide hands-on instruction in various massage techniques, ensuring students gain practical experience.
Mentor and support students throughout their educational journey, from classroom to clinical practice.
Stay current with industry trends and incorporate them into the curriculum.
Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
Assist in developing and updating course materials.
Qualifications:
Prior teaching or mentoring experience required.
In-depth knowledge of massage therapy techniques, anatomy, and physiology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
