Cook Positions II, III & Lead

We are looking to hire multiple cooks who are passionate about the culinary arts to join our Culinary team. This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen!

Your Role:

Prepare all menu items following recipes with manager guidance and oversite.

Prepares a variety of food items including meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, and cold foods.

Working independently at a workstation prepping menu items

Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, safety and organization of assigned work areas.

Meet with Lead Cook/Sous Chef to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes, and other information pertinent to the job performance.

Consistently practice safe and sanitary food handling techniques.

Apply basic knife skills required for preparation of hot and cold foods.

Communicate any assistance needed during busy periods to the Lead or Sous Chef to ensure optimum service to guests.

Inform Lead or Sous Chef of any excess items that can be used in daily specials or elsewhere.

Maintain proper storage procedures as specified by Health Department and Hotel requirements.

Minimize waste and maintain controls to attain forecasted food cost.

Participating in team meetings.

Maintain positive interaction with team members and all other departments.

Hours:

Full Time & Part Time Available

This is a 24-7, 365 day a year business that will require some work during evenings, weekends and holidays. A flexible schedule that can move between shifts and days as needed is highly desired.

Compensation:

Cook II $17-$18

Cook III $19-$20

Lead $21.00

Qualifications:

Ability to operate kitchen power equipment.

Ability to utilize cutting instruments.

Ability to transport, handle and/or lift 40 lbs (kitchen equipment, food and non-food items).

Ability to work any assigned shift/work schedule.

Has or is willing to obtain Washington State food handlers’ card

Minimum formal education of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to read recipes and follow measurement instructions accurately.

Must be able to effectively communicate with all team members.

A minimum of two-years of training or related experience preferred.

Able to accomplish assigned projects in a timely manner
