Administrative Assistant – Part-Time

Hours: Part-Time, Flexible Schedule

Compensation: TBD (Pay rate based on prior experience)

About Us: Miller Event Management, Inc., an industry leader in special event security founded in 1992, is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a variety of tasks and can handle a fast-paced environment.

Position Overview: As a part-time Administrative Assistant, you will provide support to our team by performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. You will help ensure that our office runs efficiently and effectively, supporting our managers and employees with their daily needs.

Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner-

- Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms

- Assist with scheduling meetings and coordinating interviews

- Develop and maintain filing systems to keep records organized

- Update and maintain office policies and procedures

- Support in maintaining employee profiles and updating training records

- Assist staff with administrative tasks related to Guard Card applications

- Manage shared and individual calendars, scheduling appointments as needed

- Help organize company events and meetings

- Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is stocked and in working order

- Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office

- Assist with other duties as assigned by management

Administrative Assistant Requirements and Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary are a plus- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Drive

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Experience with social media management is a plus

- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
