Quality Tech - Major Job Function & Duties Our Quality Technician is responsible for in-process inspection and testing quality verification. Ensure all QA test equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Responsible for documentation, sampling and quarantining of non-conforming material. Primary Duties:

Understand and use quality assurance specifications, standard test procedures, blueprints/drawings, and other engineering specification

Perform incoming inspections of materials and components

Perform in-process quality control inspections and document results of tests/inspections

Identify, segregate and label non-conforming product. Notify management of non-conforming product

Maintain quality records as per documented procedures, including test data and retained samples. Communicate inspection findings with appropriate Quality, Production and Engineering personnel

Assemble job books for production

Perform quality inspections

Wage

$39,000/year - $45,000/year (approximately $19-$22/hour) - based on experience

If working on 2nd shift there is a $1/hour shift differential and a $2/hour shift differential on 3rd

Hours:

First Shift

Monday - Friday | 6am - 2pm

Third Shift

Monday - Friday | 10pm - 6am

Training will be conducted on 1st shift for approximately 60-90 days

Requirements:

High School Diploma of GED

2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Prior experience utilizing testing equipment preferred

Prior experience utilizing /reading measuring tools

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

Keen attention to detail with good organization and communication skills

Physical demands: bending, carrying, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, and walking. Frequent keyboarding.
