Line Cook at Sugar Hill

Sugar Hill is seeking a dedicated line cook to join our small crew.

We are a neighborhood cocktail lounge and grill with a steady clientele seven nights a week.

Our menu is simple and easy to execute but must be made to high standards.

Hiring for full-time Tuesday-Saturday. 3:30 start to 11:00-1:00 close depending on the night.

You

are chingon - a bad ass.

have at least 1 year of experience in a kitchen role.

can lift at least 50 lbs.

treat others with respect.

have a valid Oregon Food Handlers card.

About the job/company:

You will be one of only two cooks, usually you'll be running the line on your own.

Starting pay is $21 an hour plus tips.

Tips are paid out weekly, dependent on food sales. When we're busy you get paid more!

Tuesday through Saturday schedule is non-negotiable.

Our company offers Blue Cross/Blue Shield health benefits at 50% employer burden immediately and a 401k match after 1 year.

Time and a half pay for federal holidays.

40 hours of sick time/ PTO per year.
