Data Analyst & Administrator

Our client, a successful boutique Financial Services firm in lower Manhattan has an immediate opening for a Data Analyst with at least two years of related experience. This is a Temp to Hire opportunity for a bright, high energy person with strong data management and analytical skills. Duties include interpreting data, analyzing results and using statistical techniques, developing and implementing data analysis, data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality. Candidate should have some experience in writing, modifying and testing coding. They should have proficiency in managing and maintaining data bases and have general knowledge of SAAS and BI platforms. Experience in SQL and / or Filemaker would be a plus. Job requires a degree in Finance, Computer Science or related field, very strong Microsoft Office programs, math and organizational skills.
