Medical Administrative Assistant
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Administrative Assistant in Los Angeles, California. This role involves providing administrative support within the healthcare industry, focusing on assisting executive-level staff and managing daily operational tasks.Responsibilities: Facilitate efficient and productive operations by providing comprehensive support to the CEO and executive staff. Manage scheduling and coordination of meetings, including drafting agendas, assembling necessary documents, and taking detailed meeting minutes. Handle the logistics of meetings and appointments, ensuring all participants are available and well-informed. Draft, format, and revise various organizational communications, including donor letters. Participate in strategic outreach efforts, which may involve direct interaction with donors and members. Prioritize and manage multiple projects at once, ensuring timely follow-through on all issues. Maintain an organized and efficient executive office, including stocking necessary supplies. Proo and edit correspondences and documents for accuracy, consistency, and clarity. Assist in the preparation and distribution of meeting minutes. Engage in donor communication activities and ensure a smooth flow of information. Requirements The applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in Donor Communication is essential. Should have proven skills in Administrative Assistance. Experience in conducting and organizing Executive Meetings. Proficient in taking Meeting Minutes and distributing them accurately. Must have the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. Must have knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare regulations. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred. Knowledge of electronic health records systems would be an advantage. Bilingual or multilingual skills would be considered a plus.
