Vendor ManagerHybrid work arrangement - twice per week in-office required. JOB SUMMARYThe Vendor Manager is responsible for leading the Vendor Management Program, which provides governance and oversight for all third-party relationships for Pulte Financial Services (PFS). This individual will ensure that the Vendor Management Program supports all supplier contract activities, including oversight of complex contract negotiations and collaboration with lines of business to ensure that all terms and pricing agreements made in the negotiation process are built into the contract and conform to PFS internal standards. This individual will closely monitor all activities under the Vendor Management Program to ensure the company effectively manages all third-party relationships to mitigate risk to PFS while maintaining adherence with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vendor management, including contract and third-party risk management, within the financial services industry, excellent negotiation skills, and a keen eye for detail.PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Vendor Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
Serve as the primary point of contact for key vendor-related issues and inquiries.
Facilitate regular communication with vendors to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Contract Negotiation and Management:
Work closely with Legal and Business functions on vendor contract management, ensuring that contracts are structured with the appropriate risk provisions and mechanisms and monitor supplier performance to meet PFS’ business objectives within the agreed costs and schedules. Expected to incorporate improved supplier service, savings, and minimize third party risk.
Provide a liaison/coordination role between suppliers, internal/external legal staff and lines of business as needed, in the areas of contract negotiation and risk assessments.
Develop negotiation strategy and support Legal and business leaders in the negotiation of complex supplier contracts.
Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with the Executive team, stakeholders, and suppliers to optimize negotiations and facilitate risk assessments in a timely manner with expected quality.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of contract management guidelines related to supplier contracts and customize legal contract language within those guidelines to address specific business issues.
Work with Management on non-standard contract terms and conditions to ensure contract provisions meet PFS policies and expectations.
Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure favorable terms for the company.
Manage contract renewals and amendments, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Provide supplier contract review services and coordination of contract dispositions related to mergers and acquisitions.
Analyze and recommend contract management process improvements including vendor/contract management applications.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure key vendor performance.
Conduct regular performance reviews with key vendors and implement improvement plans, as necessary.
Prepare and present vendor performance reports to senior management through appropriate governance
Provide guidance to internal business teams on PFS goals and objectives relating to contract activity.
Continually analyze and evaluate each program or vendor for improvement opportunities and work with appropriate parties to implement them.
Risk Management and Compliance:
Lead the Vendor/Third-Party Risk Management programs for PFS. Further mature current program for Mortgage and expand to Title and Insurance businesses.
Maintain and continue to evolve Vendor Management and Third-Party Risk Management Policies and Procedures for PFS.
Ensure all vendors comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for vendor-related risks.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and their impact on vendor relationships.
Procurement and Sourcing:
Identify and evaluate new vendors and suppliers to ensure a diverse and competitive supplier base.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and develop sourcing strategies.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and optimize procurement processes.
Financial Management:
Monitor and manage the budget for vendor-related expenses.
Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall procurement efficiency.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices.
MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
May lead contract resources assigned to conduct annual third-party risk assessments or other surge activities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school or Equivalent
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, supply chain management, or a related field.
REQUIRED LICENSING, REGISTRATION, AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
Certifications in Third Party Risk Management, Vendor Management or Supply Chain Management preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum 5 years of experience leading vendor management and/or third – party risk management programs in mortgage or financial services industries, at the business line or enterprise level
Proven track record of successful contract negotiation and vendor performance management.
Deep working knowledge of third – party risk management oversight and associated regulatory requirements
Experience with vendor/contract management systems and tools
Experience with risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs) including execution of actions to close identified control gaps

Advanced computer proficiency with relevant systems and tools related to vendor management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
In depth understanding of legal principals and relationships between and among contract provisions
Comprehensive financial acumen and ability to analyze cost/benefit of contracts
Extensive working knowledge of third – party risk management oversight and associated regulatory requirements

This is a hybrid position, combining both in-office and remote work, allowing for flexibility while maintaining collaboration and productivity
