Radegast is a high-volume beer hall, perhaps most well-known for our high energy weekends and world class beer menu featuring local and national exclusive drafts imported from Germany and Belgium. We present an eclectic music calendar daily ranging across trad and gypsy jazz, blues, soul, rhythm & blues, funk, afrobeat, brass band, balkan, turkish and various world sounds, and weekly open mics & jams. We aim to create a lively, welcoming atmosphere and community built on quality products and service while thriving under the pressure of the extreme volume we experience every week.

WE:

offer a self-service, oktoberfest-inspired concession style grill serving sausages and sandwiches as well as a full service lunch, brunch, and dinner menus from our kitchen. our kitchen menu draws predominantly from central & eastern european influences - bavaria/germany, poland, czech republic, belgium and various regions which fit our concept and brand

are looking for a hard-working passionate leader who cooks, designs, and presents with care; someone to invigorate our kitchen and menu while remaining true to the core identity that is radegast: simple, soulful, bohemian, plentiful, and nostalgic

offer full service private parties, weddings, corporate events etc.on site

strive to create - and are passionate about - great food. less is more, simple not easy

are fun, boisterous, bold, a little wild

You:

are a strong leader who works well as part of a team

understand our mission and culture

thoroughly clean, DOH certified

growth oriented, detail minded

passionate, creative, mindful, organized, good at problem solving on the fly, professional

have a MINIMUM five years New York City executive experience

manage kitchen/ grill staff and vendors

maintain tight inventory and costs; strong understanding of P&L

understand excel and basic word processors, can learn and adapt to our native systems
