When we succeed, you succeed and together our best becomes better.HOW A N Apple Systems Administrator WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Configuring and maintaining the client’s Apple Device Management (ADM) solution. The current solution is JAMF supporting 250-500 end points, to configure iOS, iPadOS and macOS devices.

Maintaining a 99.99% uptime for the ADM platform.

Providing patch management for apps and JAMF host servers (Windows 16).

Creating and administering Apple operating system installation and application packages using JAMF.

Providing COTS support and configuration knowledge in an enterprise environment of other Macintosh related applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe products. This includes methods of packaging volume-licensed applications for deployment and repackaging non-PKG installers.

Creating and updating scripts (PowerShell and Bash).

Resolving MySQL database server issues.

Configuring, testing, and implementing DISA STIG requirements in accordance with DoD and Federal Government IT security policies.

Managing ticket escalations from Tier 1 engineering team.

Conducting routine reviews of incidents, identifying problems, and addressing them to resolution.

Managing implementation, administration and troubleshooting of Windows and Mac operating systems.

Providing user management including configuring new accounts, password resets, and troubleshooting user login, profile and permission issues.

Maintaining standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and documentation on an ongoing basis.

Assisting with planning, prioritization, execution and documentation of client - approved change requests.

Maintaining a firm understanding of the client’s IT infrastructure.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education : BS/BA or equivalent

Required Experience : 3-8 years of relevant experience

Required Technical Skills : DoD 8140 compliance required

Security Clearance Level : Active Top Secret with a T5 or T5R completed within the last 5 years

Required Skills and Abilities: Highly motivated, self-starter with great communications skills; effective problem solver; able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment

Preferred Skills: 5+ years’ experience with JAMF administration and support, mixed environment Windows/Mac OS support, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Group policy, Firm understanding of TCP/IP network protocols and core network devices and components

Location : Washington, District of Columbia; limited telework may be available

The likely salary range for this position is $97,750 - $132,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
