SPIRIT IS A TWO-LEVEL 10,000 SQUARE FOOT MULTI-PURPOSE EVENT SPACE CONVERTED FROM THE FORMER 581 MOOSE LODGE IN UPPER LAWRENCEVILLE INTO A PIZZERIA, BAR, AND EVENT HALL WITH STAGES ON BOTH LEVELS
Expected Hours: 18-23 hrs/week of management ; 10-15 hrs/week of booking assistance/admin
Compensation: $20/hr
Management Schedule: Monday 4p-1a, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 8P-3A
Seeking someone who has experience leading a staff in the hospitality/music industry with knowledge of music, food and beverage, at least 1 year cumulative preferred
Manager Responsibilities:
- Transition with Opening Manager
- Manage take-out orders from ChowNow and by phone
- Coordinate artist and renter hospitality
- Settle with artists and promoters at end of show
- Closing Banks and POS
- Calculating and distributing cash tips
- Checking out employees and ensuring side work is complete
- Lock up Building
General Requirements:
- Must be a resourceful, organized, urgent and creative problem solver, with the ability to lead and encourage others in the same manner
- Must be able to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Must be able to safely lift up to 40lb
- Must be willing to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must be computer savvy, with experience working with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Must be able to manage a work email account, calendar of events, keep an organized Google Drive, and work within task management programs such as Asana
- Must have or obtain RAMP Certification for Owner/Manager and Server/Seller and ServeSafe Certification
