Our office in East end of Louisville is looking to hire a talented Accounts Payable specialist to join our finance team.Job Description: As part of our Finance team, the Accounts Payable Specialist will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, receipts, and payments. This includes managing and processing invoices, expense reports, credit memos, and payment transactions. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.Responsibilities:

Processing vendor invoices, payments, and maintaining accurate records.

Prepare and perform check runs.

Audit and process credit card bills and expense reports.

Reconcile accounts payable transactions.

Set invoices up for payment.

Resolve invoice discrepancies.

Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.

Produce monthly reports and assist with month-end closing.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.

A minimum of 2 years in an Accounts Payable role.

Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel.

Experience with accounting software and databases.

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills.
