Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team located in Louisville, Kentucky. The role involves tasks such as account reconciliation, processing check runs, coding invoices, and data entry. The selected candidate will be part of a team that plays a vital role in maintaining the financial health of our organization. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Handle processing of accounts payable including invoice coding and check runs Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate records Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Epicor Erp for various accounting tasks Implement your skills in data entry to maintain and update the system Actively participate in invoice processing to ensure timely payments Monitor and manage customer accounts as required Resolve customer inquiries and issues efficiently Ensure accuracy in all tasks to maintain high-quality customer service. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) processes is a must. Ability to perform Check Runs and Coding Invoices accurately and efficiently. Advanced skills in Data Entry and Invoice Processing. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and record keeping. Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, Epicor ERP, and Epicor software is preferred. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with various departments. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A strong ethical framework to handle sensitive financial information. Knowledge of financial regulations and standards. Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively. Willingness to continue professional development and stay updated about the latest industry trends.
