Join us today for an inspired and purposeful mix of professional growth opportunities and personal rewards.This position will provide support to the Small Group business segment by coordinating renewal table maintenance, renewal process support, UAT testing, testing procedures, leading project management, resolving complex rating issues, and monitoring the integrity of key procedures.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Support the processing of Stepwise-ACA and PRIME automated renewals

Work closely with Systems, Products, Actuarial, Underwriting, Sales, and other areas to implement Renewal process changes

Coordinate the maintenance and accuracy of Renewal processes and testing

Do data analytics used to lead efforts at maximizing automated renewals

Lead and support special projects that affect the Renewal function

Identify and resolve system processing issues

Coordinate and maintain thorough documentation of procedures for Renewal changes

Identify and lead process improvement

Develop tools to provide training and guidance to Renewal Rating Analysts

Manage various Renewal databases/files

Writing business specifications for programming enhancements, contributing to developing test plans, and testing programming changes

Ensure successful completion of each scheduled renewal production cycle

5+ years of medical insurance industry experience

2+ years of experience with the ability to analyze business needs & translate into systems specifications

2+ years of experience understanding of Small Business Renewals, Rating, Underwriting, Actuarial Sciences and/or Pricing within the healthcare industry

Experience with UAT and/or renewal system testing

Intermediate proficiency with Excel

Proven excellent organizational skills

Proven excellent verbal & written skills

Proven excellent Customer Service skills

Proven ability to lead in a team environment

Proven consistently completes deliverables on time and with high level of accuracy

Preferred Qualification:

Knowledge of Stepwise, Cirrus, TSO, DB2 tables and Access

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
