Looking for 8 candidates for concessions Position at Performing Arts Center & Broad Stage Santa Monica/ Seasonal (Part-time)

Pay Rate:

$16 Hour + tips (tips are extra $7-$11 per hour and sometimes up to $20 per hr)

Who we are:

Founded in 2015, Barlingual offers full event bar services, staffing, and restaurant bar consulting.

Our Client:

Located within a historical Beverly Hills building & The Broad Stage Santa Monica, our nationally recognized clients have presented over 150 dance, theater, opera, classical music and family programs to the community of Los Angeles.

The work includes supporting three internal free standing bars used for concessions during performances and occasional pop up bars for events across the location. Shifts are mostly in the evening (5pm-9pm, with split afternoon/evening (11:30am-3:30pm) shifts on weekends.

We are seeking part time concessions/bar staff to join our amazing team immediately!

Available to work weekends!

This is an opportunity for anyone that has wanted to get experience behind a bar. You don’t need vast knowledge for bartending as it will be mostly wine, beer, coffee and teas, occasionally you may need to build basic cocktails that we will train you on. You will have a chance during training to learn from Feisser Stone who creates bar programs and trains staff for some of the most popular restaurants in LA. You will also get to experience the amazing shows put on stage at the Wallis Annenberg Center for Performing Arts as well as the Broad Stage in Santa Monica.

A strong sense of professionalism and an all-around positive personality will add to their success.

Basic Requirements:

- Age 21+

- Understanding of customer service

- Experience with part-time and on-call work

- RBS Certified / Food Handler Certified

- Legal authorization to work in the United States

Perks:

- Flexible schedule, shifts available for pick up through an app

- Open shifts posted in app for the entire month

- Bar closes before midnight

- 4 hour shifts (5pm-9pm) (additional afternoon shifts on weekend 12pm-4pm)

- Hiatus from December 22nd - January 8th
