FOH Staff Wanted! (New Position Available)

A fast-casual Japanese sushi roll shop near the Brooklyn Museum/Prospect Heights is looking for front-of-house staff.

Who We Are:

We are a Japanese-owned counter-service sushi roll shop in Brooklyn. While staying true to the authenticity of Japanese cuisine, Silver Rice puts a unique spin on traditional sushi rolls, chirashi bowls, and drinks. The restaurant is a destination spot for anyone seeking quality sushi (Selected for Zagat 2020 and Bon Appétit’s The NYC100).

Ideal Candidates Must:

Be hardworking and detail-oriented

Be a team player

Be able to multitask

Be punctual

Complete assigned daily tasks consistently

Understand sanitation and health code laws for the food industry

Be fluent in English

Have legal working status

Main Tasks:

Take order at storefront.

Packing items for delivery/takeout

Maintain work environment clean & organized

Maintain store appearance for customers

Take care of phone calls (inquiries etc.)

Plus:

Food protection certificate

Knowledge of Japanese food and culture

Weekend availability

Work Schedule:

Combination of lunch and dinner shifts

3-5 days per week

Lunch (11:00 AM - 4:00 PM) / Dinner (4:00 PM - 10:30 PM)
