Foodlove Market is looking for a Catering Sales & Event Manager to join the team.

About the Position: In the Catering Sales and Event Manager role you will be responsible for driving Foodlove catering sales growth and managing the Wooden Pin cake and dessert sales process.

About You: You are passionate, energetic and to whom pleasing and impressing guests comes naturally.

Essential Duties:

Foodlove Catering

 Partners with culinary department to create profitable menus and drive catering revenues

 Maintains full knowledge of catering menu, booking parameters, and delivery specifications

 Manages the weekly BEOs and coordinates with operations team to ensure guest satisfaction

 Builds and maintains relationships with local businesses to generate ongoing corporate catering

 Collaborates with marketing department on promotions and general awareness strategies

 Maintains high level knowledge of major competitors

 Attends industry meetings and events which may take place outside of regular business hours

Wooden Pin Baking Co.

 Partners with CHI/BOH sales and event managers to sell WP capabilities

 Builds and maintains relationships with area Event managers, Venues and Caterers to grow Wooden Pin sales

 Lead client tastings for wedding cakes and patisserie

 Partners with Pastry chefs to detail cake and patisserie specifications

 Responsible for finalizing contract and invoicing, both internally and externally

 Maintains high level knowledge of major competitors

 Attends industry meetings and events which may take place outside of regular business hours

Qualifications:

 At least 4 years of event coordination experience in the food-beverage-hospitality industry.

 Experience with high-end weddings and customized events encouraged.

 Must have flexible schedule to work during days, nights, weekends, and some holidays as needed

Skills & Abilities:

 Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.

 Strong administrative skills, organized and detail oriented and prepared to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume, aggressive sales atmosphere

 Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships

 Flexible work schedule

 Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs

 Competitive compensation $25-$28/hour Plus Commission!
