Role Description

This is a contract, on-site Low Voltage Technician role located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining low voltage systems in commercial buildings, such as fire alarms, security systems, and networking cables. You will work closely with other technicians and clients to ensure quality and timely completion of projects.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

2+ years of experience in low voltage systems installation and maintenance

Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics

Knowledge of low voltage codes and regulations

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with low voltage systems

Experience with hand and power tools

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and customer service skills

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Certifications in low voltage systems, such as BICSI or NICET, are preferred
