Kitchen Manager Position in Breckenridge

This restaurant located in Breckenridge, Colorado is looking for a Kitchen Manager to fulfill the following roles and responsibilities:

 Hires, discharges, trains and evaluates back-of-the-house personnel.

 Creates the staff schedule and works diligently to meet labor cost goals.

 Counsels, coaches and mentor’s kitchen staff to promote departmental goals.

 Purchases or requisitions food items, kitchen supplies, equipment and ensures cleanliness of kitchen and equipment.

 Plans or participates in menu planning and food production including evaluating food surpluses to control food costs.

 Samples, smells and observes food preparation methods to ensure conformance to recipes and standards of appearance and taste.

 Informs front-of-the-house personnel of menu changes, specials and shortages.

 Meets with staff, customers or client groups to plan special menus.

 Works various positions as well as expo as needed

Nice-to-have:

Prior experience with Toast/XtraChef

Speaks Spanish

Technical knowledge of inventory management

Enjoys improving processes and finding ways to save

This job requires living in the Summit County/Breckenridge area.

Moving costs can be negotiated if moving is necessary.
