As we approach our 10-year anniversary, we’re looking for a Front Desk Coordinator who can help elevate our client experience and support our team. Position Overview
The Front Desk Coordinator is the face of Society and the first point of contact for our clients. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that each client feels welcomed, supported, and excited about their experience. You will also play a key role in achieving sales goals, managing appointments, and creating a smooth workflow for the entire salon.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome clients with warmth, ensuring a high-quality first impression
Manage salon scheduling, booking appointments, and handling rescheduling or cancellations using Boulevard software
Assist clients in selecting and purchasing retail products, gift cards, and add-on services
Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring repeat visits and loyalty
Handle phone and email inquiries professionally with prompt responses
Process payments accurately (cash, card transactions, and tips)
Assist in managing retail inventory and display upkeep
Support stylists and management by keeping the front desk and reception area running smoothly
Participate in special events, promotions, and client appreciation activities
Light cleaning duties in the reception and retail areas
Assist with gift card sales, helping to meet monthly sales targets
Requirements
Excellent sales, communication, and customer service skills required
Warm, welcoming, and engaging personality
Ability to build strong customer relationships
Goal-oriented with an ability to achieve sales in services, retail, and gift cards
Self-motivated and takes initiative
Ability to learn and use the Boulevard software system
Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication skills via in-person, phone, and email
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Must have proficient computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent required
Authorization to work in the United States required
Weekend and rotating shift availability required
