We are actively seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team!

You will be responsible for working on multiple construction projects for an Electrical Contractor.

This is a Project Engineer position, reporting directly to (3) Project Managers in the PM Department.

Monday thru Friday, 700AM-400PM in the El Cajon office, this is not a jobsite-based position.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Project Managers with their duties and take directions to execute tasks to completion

Plans / Project Documents Management

Upload and manage plans using Procore software

Create and issue RFI's and Submittals, receive responses and upload to Procore

Receive and understand RFI's, upload to Procore and update new plans

Generate, distribute, track submittals from start to finish

Printing plans using in-house plotters

Work with Suppliers and Vendors to assist the PM's in buying materials

Correspond with General Contractors and Vendors to meet end-goals

Qualifications:

2-3 years minimum experience in Construction Project Engineering, or similar experience

Deadline and detail oriented

Must know how to read and understand construction plans

Not required to be fluent in Plan Reading, but knowledge of Sheet Numbering, and organizing.

MS Outlook and MS Excel experience a must

Confident, efficient and effective communication with coworkers, clients, and vendors
