prep/asst. cook needed- vegan organic granola company

Pure Bliss Organics produces healthy, certified organic granola, and snacks.

We have been in business for 19 years and are growing fast. We are looking for team players who are self motivated and committed to production goals. Advancement within the company is possible and encouraged.

This position if a lead cook position for production in our facility. Daily we are producing1000lbs or more of granola, energy bars or nuts. You will train for few weeks then, responsibilities include:

- assist in baking/cooking product in 50-200 lb batches (baking).

- spreading granola, nuts and bars on trays to baked.

- prepping ingredients for large batches of granola and energy bars

- Working with the crew to maintain high standard of cleanliness, also understanding the various standards that are part of our SQF and HAACP protocol.

- other varied tasks related to the production of our products including some packaging.

- Ability to communicate well and work in a focused but relaxed environment.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs no problem and be on your feet 8 hours day

- Transportaion and legal work status required. We are not on a bus line.

At least one years' experience as cook either in a restaurant or factory is strongly preferred.

Competitive pay - $15 hr + depending on experience with a raise after the training period.

The shift is from 6am-2:30pm.
