Bike Shop Retail Sales Associate and/or Mechanic (full or part time)
Maui Sunriders has 3 bike shops on Maui in Paia, Kihei & soon our new store in Kapalua after losing our Downtown Lahaina shop. The retail sales associate position has the potential to work out of our Kihei and/or Kapalua locations, we can discuss your options and find the right fit for you. We are looking for retail sales associates and/or mechanics that are knowledgeable about bikes and enjoy talking to customers. We're searching for someone experienced, knowledgeable, hardworking, detail-oriented, with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and high standards for excellence. Someone who loves to talk to our guests and share your knowledge about Maui. The ideal candidate would have previous bike shop experience.
We have the biggest fleet of rental and retail bikes on the island. Our rental fleet includes high end full-suspension mountain bikes, road bikes, ebikes & beach cruisers. We offer full service repairs, rentals, daily bike tours, retail from some of the best bike clothing and gear brands in the industry. Our shops offer the largest selection of bikes for sale on the island, so it’s important that you have a good base understanding of all the different types of bikes that we sell and rent. We offer a great environment for customers to enjoy spending time with the sport they love. We have built an outstanding reputation for Excellent service and we are eager to find the right individuals to add to our dynamic team.
At Maui Sunriders, we’re avid cyclists, surfers, skiers & snowboarders who have a passion for adventuring in the outdoors. Collectively, our team has decades of experience in domestic and international tour guiding, business management, bicycle service & rentals, and outdoor sport of all types. Many of us hold upper level certifications, and we strive to beat industry standards when it comes to safety and service. Our team is incredibly close, and while we love to work hard, we also play hard. After work, you can find us riding our bikes, hiking, or surfing. We are passionate about bikes, we take pride in excellent customer service. Our goal is to provide our local community with an excellent experience, every time. We are motivated by a common interest to build a strong cycling community here on Maui!
You don't have to be an expert but lease only reach out if you love riding bikes, understand bikes w/basic knowledge and maybe even have bike shop experience hopefully!
