Property Manager
Part-Time Property Manager - Clay Arsenal, Hartford, CT
We are seeking a Part-Time Property Manager to oversee a 20-unit property in North side - Clay Arsenal, Hartford, CT. This role offers significant room for growth, as the owner and property management company currently manage 200 units and are expanding rapidly. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the 20-unit property, including tenant relations and maintenance coordination.
Manage and resolve tenant concerns while ensuring the property rules are followed to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
Supervise and manage the building superintendent to ensure timely completion of repairs and work orders.
Handle leasing paperwork, tenant applications, and ensure compliance with property regulations.
Maintain property records, prepare reports, and manage other administrative duties as needed.
Ensure discipline and compliance with property policies.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience: Experience in customer service and difficult situations; prior property management experience preferred but not required. Initial training will be provided.
Character: Honest, ethical, and able to work independently with a remote supervisor based in New York.
Licenses: Valid driver’s license required.
Technology: Familiarity with property management software (Buildium) is a plus.
Bilingual: Preference given to candidates who are bilingual in Spanish.
Compensation:
$20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
