As a Home Equity Loan Processor, the duties will include, but are not limited to:
Performing various processing duties of new consumer home equity mortgage loans
Send early disclosures
Order underwriting documents
Perform both processing and closing functions on HELOCs (Home Equity Lines of Credit).
Qualified candidates will be required to have a high school diploma, GED or HSED and one (1) year of general lending experience. Previous home equity lending experience would be a plus, but not required. Altra would like our candidates to have a good understanding of credit union polices, systems, documents, home equity vendors, NCUA regulations, and other laws pertaining to home equity/mortgage lending. Knowledge of home equity/mortgage lending software programs and applications is preferred, but not required.
This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Position may require occasional Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to Noon.
Pay and Benefits:
Competitive starting rate of $18.25/hour + based on experience!
When bilingual in Spanish or Hmong, receive a $1.00 / hour pay premium after completing and passing the language exam.

Experience
Required
One (1) year of general lending experience is required.
Preferred
Knowledge of home equity/mortgage lending software programs and applications is preferred.
Good understanding of credit union policies, systems, documents, home equity vendors, NCUA regulations, and other laws pertaining to home equity/mortgage lending is preferred.
Previous home equity lending experience is preferred, but not required.
