Personal Lines Insurance Agent/ Admin Wanted
Job description
Nexus Insurance is looking for an experienced insurance agent with strong knowledge of commercial auto and Home insurance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Selling commercial auto and home insurance.
Increase new business by initiating contact with prospects through community involvement, cold-calling (face-to-face and phone), quote calls, referrals, and walk-ins to build interest, match needs with products and services, and close the sale to meet the agreed-upon production goals.
Expand business by proactively building relationships with existing customers (renewing policies, assisting them with alternatives in the event they have canceled a policy, and selling new insurance products) to meet the agreed-upon production goals.
Minimum Requirements:
At least 6 months of relevant experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Property & Casualty License, 440, 20-44 or 220 required.
Demonstrates well-developed computer skills (internet, email, word processing, spreadsheets, hardware, keyboarding).
Must have a working knowledge of progressive, wind heaven, ocean harbor and united.
Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
Possesses the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from management, employees, clients, customers, and the general public.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Sales experience is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
