Full-Time Customer Service Representative - Billing
Looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to join our Billing Team who provides service excellence; works well in a fast-paced, office, team environment; is highly self-motivated and detailed-oriented; and can efficiently multi-task to ensure timely completion of job duties.

Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8:00am-4:30pm; non-exempt
Overtime: Occasional
Essential Duties:
-Timely scanning of all customer order documentation to the database.
-Address all customer issues in a timely and professional manner, seeking assistance as necessary.
-Routinely audit and correct charges for billing.
-Routinely audit, correct, and input neighbor island invoice charges onto customer billing, following up with neighbor island transportation agents for corrections to their invoices as necessary.
-Timely and accurate billing of customer charges by following standard operating procedures and billing schedule.
-Bimonthly Accounts Receivable review including follow up with customers for pending payments and providing supporting documents for amounts due.
-Weekly follow up with neighbor island transportation agents for delivery documents and invoices supporting services provided.
-Accurately audit third party invoices to ensure charges are reflected in customers' billing.
-Generate weekly reports, audit Hazmat documents scanned into Trinium, and investigate missing Hazmat documents.
-Maintain an organized filing system for orders and forward documentation for scanning as necessary.
-Serve as the primary back up to the Documentation/Billing Clerk.
-Continually evaluate procedures to identify opportunities for improvement.
-Support and assist operations with handling issues, questions, and customer inquiries.
-Investigate and handle pending orders.
-Complete tasks and other job duties as assigned.
-Always think and work safely to prevent work accidents, injuries, and property damage. Comply with all company safety rules including reporting unsafe acts or conditions, illnesses, and injuries to supervisor or manager, and actively participate in identifying ways to make our company a safer place to work.
Qualifications: Required (R) or Preferred (P)
-Minimum 2 years related business experience: (P)
-High school diploma or equivalent: (R)
-College: (P)
-Fluency in English (oral and written): (R)
-Effective oral and written communication: (R)
-Proven customer service experience: (P)
-PC skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel: (R)
-Ability to understand and work in a computer database: (P)
-Type 45+ wpm: (R)
-Excellent attendance and dependability: (R)
