Part-time -HVAC Project Coordinator (2+ years of experience required)
DNA Air Conditioning & Heating, LLC is actively seeking a skilled HVAC Project Coordinator to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. This is an immediate opening for a candidate with relevant experience.
About the Role:
As an HVAC Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role within the project team, overseeing the delivery of products and milestones of varying complexities. You will report directly to the Vice President & General Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Define and clarify project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Oversee HVAC unit installations from initiation to completion.
- Create and execute project timelines.
- Ensure timely execution and implementation of project tasks.
- Monitor and report on project progress to all appropriate stakeholders.
- Identify potential project issues proactively to minimize risks.
- Create and execute necessary corrective measures as required.
- Order HVAC equipment and materials.
- Communicate directly with suppliers.
- Prepare various reports.
- Assist in preparing monthly billing for each project to ensure timely invoicing and cash flow management.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized project documentation.
- Manage project budgets to ensure profitability.
- Address and resolve vendor-related issues as they occur.
- Negotiate final costs with HVAC vendors.
- Support the projects department with ongoing HVAC issues and additional tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Degree or diploma is an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC Project Coordination or HVAC Estimating.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Technical aptitude to understand and explain construction project scopes.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of HVAC and facilities management is advantageous.
Additional Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Advanced computer proficiency.
- Familiarity with the HVAC industry is an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints is advantageous.
Key Skills:
- Serve as the primary contact for customers after the sales handoff.
- Ensure customer engagement during critical project milestones.
- Ensure accountability with manufacturers.
- Address critical issues during the installation phase collaboratively with customers and the sales team.
- Coordinate subcontractor startup and onsite service work.
- Manage freight costs, timing, and site requirements.
- Handle warranty files, assessments, and negotiations.
- Continuously learn and enhance knowledge of all products supplied by HVAC Systems.
